Volunteers are vital to our organisation and to the individuals we support, and as such, we truly value their commitment, skills, experience and enthusiasm.

Volunteers support clients in refuge, help at the One Stop Shop,  facilitate Support Groups, accompany clients to courts/other appointments and support BCWA’s helpline, as well as the admin & fundraising team at the head office.

We continually support and develop our volunteers by providing a training programme, a full induction, expenses and recognition of achievements.

Level of commitment is flexible, depending on role requirements and availability during our working hours of Monday – Friday between 9:30am and 4:30pm. We request all volunteers to commit minimum 1 day per week for at least for 6 months.

For further information on volunteering, please email BCWA’s Senior Volunteer Coordinator with your CV and a cover letter to volunteering@bcwa.org.uk
