Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid is seeking to recruit a Female* Young People’s Engagement Officer, a domestic abuse specialist who is passionate about working with young people. This post is funded by the Mayor of London’s Young Londoners Fund.
We are a well-established, innovative and forward thinking domestic abuse service and are seeking a self-motivated, flexible and experienced individual to join our dynamic team to help us deliver excellent services to survivors of domestic abuse.
The post holder will be required to demonstrate a good awareness and understanding of the effects of domestic abuse and the specific issues around the impact of domestic abuse and intimate relationship abuse on young people.
You must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. The person we are looking for will also have experience of working with groups of young people to raise awareness of issues that may affect them, in particular around healthy relationships.
Job Title: Young People’s Engagement Officer
Hours: Part-time / 28h per week
Contract Type: Fixed-term until Sept 2021
Salary: £20,168 per annum (FTE £25,210)
