The women’s sector

We work with other refuge and domestic abuse service providers to share experience and best practice.

Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid is a member of Women’s Aid Federation of England.

Local agencies

We work closely with the London Borough of Bromley Housing and Social Services Departments to provide the best service for women who need refuge accommodation, as well as support whilst remaining at home.

We participate in:

  • MARAC conferences
  • Bromley Child Safeguarding Board
  • Child Protection Conferences and monitoring meetings
  • Bromley Domestic Violence Forum and Executive Group
  • Bromley Safeguarding Audits
  • Tackling Troubled Families
  • London Borough of Bromley Local Housing liaison meetings and Housing Provider’s (Registered Social Landlord’s) Managing Agent Forums.

Other organisations

All staff work closely with relevant agencies according to individual circumstances.

We work with a broad range of agencies including local and Pan-London BAMER groups, disability organisations, health and mental health agencies, Advice & Support Groups, local schools and colleges, food banks and youth organisations.
