BCWA’s staff, volunteers and trustees are diverse, representing a range of different, cultures, religions, age range and nationalities.
Former service users are also represented in staff, management, the Board and volunteers of Bromley & Croydon Women’s Aid.
BCWA’s Board of Trutees consists of a Chair and seven members. The Board meets six times a year and is responsible for the charity’s overall management and strategic direction.
Board members include ex-service users and professionals from a variety of backgrounds including domestic abuse, safeguarding, complex needs, social care, the law, HR and accountancy.

Our staff provide front-line services, including refuge support, outreach support, awareness programmes and admin.

Volunteers complement BCWA’s workforce and provide in a number of different roles including facilitating support groups, admin & fundraising, refuge assistance and support at the domestic abuse One Stop Shop.
